I read body language and microexpressions way better than the average person. I can control my emotions, I’m naturally calm, yet my social standing is still the same as some bottom-barrel, non-NT freak.
I used to be popular as a kid, but puberty ruined me. I became too self-conscious, paired with a hyperactive mind and a calm temperament, thus no impulse to speak. The anxiety is pretty much gone now, but I haven’t socialized properly since puberty. I’ve made zero new friends since then. I can’t find the words to speak, and I don’t relate to anyone. It’s insane.
Sometimes I watch these non-NT freaks talk and just see how clueless they are, laughing like animals with zero self-control over the dumbest things. I fucking hate them. I remember back in high school there was another loner, some non-NT freak who tried to befriend me. I don’t want to be boxed in with animals like that. No way. I never will.
