Genetic recombination or environment?

I was always the shortest in the class. Same with my brother who is 2.5 years younger than me. But I have an additional brother who is 7 years younger than me. But he is average height for his age. He is chubbier and much heavier 20+ lbs than me and my other brother were at his age. He eats more meat and food in general than we did. He also does soccer (football) whilst me and my other brother stayed indoors.

I’m 5’7. My brother who is almost 15 is like 5’4. (The same as I was at his age)

My youngest brother (10 years old) is probably gonna grow to at least 5’9 if he’s average height now. Maybe more since the averages nowadays is higher.

I’ll probably never know for certain whether this is genetic combination or environmental or both. But I wish I had a better environment growing up.

overweight ppl are usually taller during childhood and grow less in teenhood because of high e fusing their growth plates earlier so u can never know how tall he’s gonna be just by looking at his age average

He’s not overweight he’s like 82 lbs.

I was just really skinny. Maybe this changes something.
