They aren’t even central Asian genetically
They are a mix of west Asian//south Asian
Except for minor groups like Tajiks and Hazaras and even those two ethnic groups have a good percentage of iranic/west Asian admix @Shrek2OnDvD

If @ascendedd did a dna test it would look like this

For @Shrek2OnDvD he would score minimum of 25-30% central Asian and other East Asian groups

The rest would be west Asian/south Asian and a bit a European region because of his EHG admix

Yeah Pakistani Pashtuns have more AASI and Afghan Pashtuns less but enough. Either way it’s all small numbers so it doesn’t matter much. It doesn’t translate into their phenotype anyway.
