I've seen a lot of posts on here coming out against buccal fat removal.
It's true most people will see a substantive change in facial fat when they're sub 10% body fat, but A LOT of it is genetics. If members of your family have fat cheeks too and aren't overweight then its likely that there's not a lot you can do to change it except surgery .I've been 140 lbs at 8% body fat before and still had fat cheeks so I can definitely speak to this!
Whether buccal fat removal is effective is another debate I guess. Most surgeons stay away subcutaneous fat removal when it comes to the cheeks. Plus some that do buccal fat removal are quite conservative and don't remove the entire fat pad.I wish more surgeons would be willing to do subcutaneous cheek liposuction because its absolutely safe if its done with a small cannula.
