No, don’t get me wrong - it’s not common for South Asians (or Pakistanis) to have dry earwax. Most of them will have wet earwax. I think it’s because of the SAHG ancestry, since SAHG is (distantly?) related to East Asians, and since it’s common in East Asians, that’s probably where that came from. Although it makes up a quarter of my genome, the rest is all West Eurasian. Most South Asians without a doubt stink like shit (that’s where the whole “imagine the smell” comes from, even though South Asians will cope and say it’s because of “muh spices.”).

You’re absolutely right about white people smelling like wet dog. I’d heard of this before but never experienced it, until last summer. It seems each race has their own distinctive smell. MENA have their own, and within MENA it’s also distinct. For example, I smelled the same body odor off of a Turkish man and a Turkish woman, and the same body odor off of a Moroccan man and a Moroccan woman. Strangely enough, I’ve never smelled any black people. So I can’t say what they smell like. I know they’re obviously going to stink as well, but I’ve not been able to detect it. Maybe they go through greater lengths to hide it. There’s antiperspirants, there’s perfumes, etc.
