Genioplasty 3 weeks Post OP

Just wanted to update everyone, since I got this insurance covered I still have money I can use towards my next hardmax. I was thinking of lower eyelid retraction repair but lmk what you guys think

i would see an ortho and see if they can fix your chimp lips

but fix everything else also lol, your nose is way too big and wide especially for your mouth. also get a lip lift holy philtrum

Still a good result + I tried asking for bimax but couldn't get it insurance covered and my surgeon suggested me not to get it because my bite is within the normal range.

Epicanthoplasty for what? I know I get mistake for Asian a lot but I am not. I’m seeing the before and after and it’s almost only for Asian eyes

How many mm did you advance with?
Looks like maybe you should have done more tbh. I thought you could do like 12mm

You can make unrealistic morphs all day for all i care but the truth is he has a small jaw, even for his base.

I told you what i think he should have got. Even after the huge genio the chin looks recessed. wanna put an implant on top of the genio or fillers? Fine, i just don't think it's a very good solution.
And also I'd add that i think he'd be very susceptible to sleep apnea as he will age.

He can't get more projection without looking strange. His cranial base needs to be longer to support it. He could have his jaws set back to reduce the prognathism and the need for more projection. If that's at all possible, I mean. I don't know the details of that jaw surgery.

(I don't think it would be worth it. Or am even sure that it looks much better than the prognathic look)

And also I'd add that i think he'd be very susceptible to sleep apnea as he will age.

he probably needs 2 lower and 2 upper premolars extracted + setback. if i was him id go that route, if hes happy with the genio then fine. rhino with alar width reduction and maybe lip lift should be his next move

Full double jaw setback can affect the tongue, genioglossus/geniohyoid allat suprahyoid shit and posterior airway way more than moving arches back via orthodontics or aso

And also you need to be in the correct incisor position within the jaw to do aso so no ortho camouflage or crazy natural compensation

Never. I got the genioplasty for free and have around 7K saved for my next procedures I just need a clear plan of what to do next. Currently looking at a MARPE to expand the width of my mouth

go to korea since its the aso capital of the world let the genio heal and let him fix your protuding mouth plus chin for good combine that with an ethnic rhino done there as well. Lean out plus buccal fat removal as you have chubby cheeks and then get jaw filler and train your neck. Your eye area is actually pretty nice bro. go to the surgeon in the post
