Just wanted to update everyone, since I got this insurance covered I still have money I can use towards my next hardmax. I was thinking of lower eyelid retraction repair but lmk what you guys think

Spend your money on ortho, in order to get decompensation and then get bimax. simple as that. if you need a bigger palett, you can discuss this with your ortho, this can be done with decomp or with the bimax (by doing a 3-piece lefort). this is your nr.1 priority right now.

forget all the other cosmetic surgeries. take this from someone who has had a genio in the past and got his his bimax years later.

After you have the bimax done, you can focus on other areas, but bimax should always be the first surgery for 70-80% looking to optimize their face. It is definetly indicated in your case. Which country are you from? If youre from Germany, i can tell you which doctors you can go to.

Good news is you are probably young enough to get everything done at a young enough age to make the most of your 20s. Good for you.

Still a good result + I tried asking for bimax but couldn't get it insurance covered and my surgeon suggested me not to get it because my bite is within the normal range.

Im in the US specifically ohio, right now I'm trying to get a consultation for a MARPE before it's too late. Im planning on getting an ASO for my protruding mouth is that what you mean by decomp?

decompensation = basically deflaring youre teeth, probably reversing the shit result youre braces gave you when you were a teenager and getting you prepared for bimax

On review, I change my mind. OP needs a bimax with conservative movements I think. The morph I made was just me sperging. I was thinking that if you get bimax, you need to have the most movement, which is not true.

he doesnt need a fucking aso surgery to deflare his teeth retards. this is done in the decompensation process with braces before bimax. if he still looks bad after the bimax because of his protruding mouth, he can consider this surgery, but not before. Jesus, this is the most low iq discussion ive had in a long time. he needs a bimax to adress his recession, simple as that. After that he can start and consider other cosmetic surgeries, but bimax always is the base going forward.

I have my follow up appointment with my surgeon today should I ask him about unflaring my teeth to eventually get double jaw surgery? My parents are okay with it if I pay bc im 18 now and they cant stop me lol

Just got my post OP consultation done and asked about decompensation + a double jaw and he confirmed he can do that. Him and my parents agreed to wait a couple months to decide if I want to go that route. But I am definitely gonna go through with it and save during that period.

Did you even get the scans yet? I doubt you can afford any meaninful movements

Yeah I told him I'm sure I want to go through with it but he said wait 3-6 months. Ill try to convince him bc I have another consultation with him in 3 weeks and ill try to get it set up

red tape is bullshit. i remember i could barely get a fucking referral to a maxfax cuz my bluepilled jeet doctor thought i looked fine and refused to “play into my BDD.” i got an OSA diagnosis after seeing a real sleep dr and never saw the jeet again after that disrespect.

Actually update I went for a post op consultation today and he said he would be able to inflate my teeth with braces then do double jaw surgery but I’d need braces for 8 months first
