best non-cope method
Hope it will be good (4,5k€ btw)

1 years and half before op ( 15 and have a early puberty so no growth spurts )

I don’t want to post my side profile before the surgery for now.For several reasons, perhaps later, but the difference between my side view from a year ago and before my surgery is minimal, maybe more ramus and mandible but really not much.
I will post updates over time

yea, y’all maybe don’t see in the pre-ascension picture but after that I was a very good candidate for genio, my occlusion was good btw

4,5k pretty pricey for french surgeons, who was it?

It’s very good man, you didn’t fall for the bimax hype and you didn’t need it so it’s good.
The genio will do 90% of a bimax especially if u don’t have function problems.

But we can’t see shit cuz of bandage + different angle + 1 year diff

yea I know, after like 80-90% of the swelling go I will post a better thread with scanner pre op and post op

perfect bro question did you pay with French insurance? Would you recommend people traveling to France to get this done? I know they upcharge crazy for foreigners but it's still cheaper than Turkey or Italy which is 8-9k

I paid the surgeon, the anesthesiologist, etc. directly out of my own pocket... and yes, generally speaking, in France or a European country like Austria or Poland.

Looks for sure like an ascension, although trimax would have ascended further

Mirin either way

Proud to see you ascending my bro

c'est toi qui a décide de faire une genio ou c'est le chir qui voulait faire, en tout cas bv c'est sur que ca rendra bien

I honestly think that, in terms of results, the Genioplasty was more worthwhile for me. Especially since I had no occlusion/functional problems.

by like 20% more. He addressed the primary issue, and thats okay. Especially with no malocclusion also

i have seen his results after swelling have gone down and it looks great doing any sort of lefort would have upped the risks of it coming out bad for nearly nothing beneficial.

ahaha no just turn your phone so my recessed chin is less obvious, and the photo was taken once I had fixed my posture and lost weight

8mm forward, the surgeon also played with the width using bone growth, but I don't know by how many mm

btw some result : one month later, i saw my surgeon who told me that I'm still swollen, but that the projection would remain the same
the second photo was taken two weeks post-op; I was still very swollen.

one of the best ive ever seen,
Jfl at some people thinking paying an extra 10k would’ve somehow made this better.

yes, that's normal it could be due to the stitches or more generally swelling on my lip
my position and lighting are also different.

thanks ! the first few days are difficult because you can barely eat, especially for me because I had compresses which made everything complicated, but very quickly, I'd say after a week, you'll be able to eat much better.

I know i may be late, but this is a big proof that genio many times does the magic, as they say in anything coding related, if it works, don't touch it.

Good ascension btw.

according to my scans, no, I didn't need a bsso, or at least that wasn't the case with the highest ROI

Why austria exactly

my jaw was giga recessed, not the case anymore
i mean a genioplasty just advances the chin, your mandible is still clearly recessed. you needed lower jaw surgery (bsso or bimax), not a genioplasty.

so this is my side before the genio. i think that my mandible is okay even with a +20% bf
