Can a genioplasty help fix slight lip incompetence? The problem for me stems from mandibular recession primarily (I don’t know if the chin is also recessed aswell) but jaw surgery is not an option for me. To what degree can I mask or improve the side profile with a genio (if the real problem is mostly mandible recession) and will it help lip incompetence?
