My orthodontist offered a genioplasty or a mandibular osteotomy.

i have a noticeably recession on my lower jaw so bsso might be the way

Get her to morph them and see what looks best. Mandibular recession is... gonna be fixed by mandibular advancement. Though genioplasty may mask the retrognathic look.
