Okay so im already loosing weight and working Out but that doesnt magically fix my recessed chin / jaw. I need a good 8-10mm of chin growth and i have just turned 18. Should I get genio asap or wait and see? Anything else I should do while im at it?

Already got braces btw, so my bite is ideal JFL.

it looks like u kinda got a slight overbite not sure tho, if it is then get BSSO to bring the lower jaw/mandible forward

But Bsso will Change bite, or Not? Also what bonus would I get from that?
The reason the chin appears this way is not because just chin is recessed, because the lower jaw(mandible) hasn't grown forward enough. This problem isn't solved by simply moving the chin forward. It can also cause bite problems, so it's usually combined with orthotonistic treatment.

He doesn't need a double jaw surgery, his maxilla has already grown forward, the problem is in his lower jaw. He need bsso + genioplasty.
Shi I already got orthodondic Treatment and ideal jaw alignment (Atleast in Terms of SNA and SNB angles from Xray)

Bite problems can occur any time the jaw position changes, even if you've received treatment.

So If I got bsso + genioplasty (for which I would have to wageslave hard btw) wouldnt it mess up my jaw alignment and id need braces again?

Yes, you will need to wear braces again, but don't worry, brace treatment doesn't take that long.

If you truly have an overbite, your teeth won't be in your natural position anyways. So you would wear braces for a certain amount of time to put your teeth into their natural position, and then after that your operation would take place.

Can take up to 12 months pre surgery + another 6-12 post surgery, but who gives af tbh, noone cares if you have braces or not.

You might not need genio after bsso unless your chin is pointy/not broad enough

Thing is, I dont have an overbite anymore, atleast according to my orthodontist (I have Had braces for like 3 years now) and If I pushed my lower jaw significantly Forward, id have an underbite

I know that people with crooked or uneven teeth who haven't had braces before generally get braces before surgery. Could you tell me more about that?

Yeah braces arent the problem for me here, more like the 20k that I dont have . Time to start wageslaving I guess 😂

I'm getting braces right now for Lefort 1 in the future and I have very good teeth, the surgeon was surprised that I never wore braces before and have teeth like I do with a reccessed maxilla. And I'm getting braces for like 12 months probably. With 12 months of braces, your teeth will pretty much 100% go to their natural position, thus an accurate and a maximum movement can be made.

I saw that giant does surgery first for some people, I mean he has 10000x more knowledge than I do, so I assume that with proper calculations you can still make the maximal movement, and later you just apply the braces and get your bite fixed, but post surgery pretty much.

For me, lefort 1 + braces here is about 8k in total, I'll be humble and say 8-10k.

Your jaws are fine, you just have a really low hyoid

And actually as much as I've seen, heard and read, according to my knowledge like pretty much 98% of the people wear braces before a jaw surgery, it's more rare not to wear, like your teeth would need to be in their natural position already.

Get a 3D CT scan, it would confirm any jaw reccession if you have 1. Eyeballing can work and in some cases is very obvious, but CT scan doesn't lie.
