Almost 19 and genuinely feel like I’m falling behind in life. Need advice.

I’m turning 19 in a couple weeks and this summer has made me wanna rope.

My dad forced me to buzz almost 2 years of hair growth, I work 10-hour warehouse shifts that I don’t even enjoy, still don’t have my own car, and I keep failing at leanmaxxing because I binge eat and blow money on fast food with friends every weekend to cope. Every Monday I feel like I’m back at square one.

The biggest thing messing with me is my college crush.

We got really close freshman year. She was usually the one texting first, replying to my stories, sending reels, asking me to hang out, and we even made out one night. I caught real feelings, but I was way too high inhibition to escalate anything sober because I was scared of rejection.

Now I’ve heard she only sees me as a friend and wishes I could see her that way too. The problem is I can’t. I still think about her every day, and every time she sends me a reel or replies to my story I start overthinking everything again.

Then I developed a small crush on a girl at work, got nervous talking to her, paused a lot and stuttered, and afterward she hid her Instagram stories from me. That destroyed what little confidence I had left.

Meanwhile it feels like everyone around me is ascending. One of my best college friends just started talking to a Japanese girl from our university and they’ve already gone on a date. Other friends are getting girlfriends or serious talking stages while I’m almost 19 and have never even been on a real date.

The worst part is my mental state. I cry a lot at night, constantly replay freshman year in my head, and I’ve felt depressed for months. Sometimes I even wonder if life is worth living anymore because I feel like I’m falling behind in every area of life. I don’t want to stay like this.

Do I just cut my losses with the college girl, stop hoping, and focus completely on ascending? Or do you think there’s any chance things can change if I improve myself over the next year?

I genuinely need advice because I feel lost.
