inb4 you
inb4 its not real
inb4 psychology is a pseudoscience

lve quite literally read the entirety of wikipedia and every published google scholar article on autism and there's seems to be no general consensus understanding as to what it is or what causes it. No congruent pathology, no one underlying neurological mechanism, no genes identified. just a bunch of woo theories like ancient neanderthal genes, mystery de novo mutations or fucking stomach issues.

the top down mechanism of autism (and main problem) is essentially just a very low eq (retarded intuition) but neurologists dont even know what the fuck an intuition is or how it works, let alone a spastic intuition. So you (autist who doesnt have access to world class geneticist lab) can't even address the root cause and subsequently increase your giga low eq. futheremore what does a normal intuition perceive as a retarded intuition, what relationship with language do normies have that autists seem to inherently lack.

nt maxxing is way harder than looksmaxxing (not eating like a pig -> skin care -> bimax, literally a 4yr old could do this), yet i will prevail

Hello! I'm Irium, or Iri for short :> I'm a college student looking for some extra fun and support!I like all things art / creativity related. A hobby lobby to me is like another girls favorite clothing store. Huge animal lover!!! I have 2 cats, ask to see them and I’ll be more than happy to show off my babies.I’m also autistic so you wont get a phony laugh out of me, but I'm sure we could have a lot of interesting conversations~For starters, I have my tongue split😘Also would love someone to help me work towards my dreams! (Ask me about them if you'd like to know)

i mean it is a pseudoscience but calling it such isnt helpful

theres obviously an underlying mechanism that causes autism otherwise people considered 'autistic' wouldnt exhibit the exact same traits

autism gives you powers, as long as ur handsome

It's a spectrum of traits, caused by multiple genes. It's just that

Every autistic person I've met is basically a toddler, they go "non verbal" out of nowhere and stop talking to you, they have "food sensibilities" or something and genuinely can't eat a bunch of vegetables and start separating them from the plate no matter where they are, a fancy restaurant or fucking McDonald's, it was embarrassing as shit to see my friend's grown ass sister picking apart the vegetables from her plate at a restaurant like a toddler

youre wrong in that people considered autistic exhibit the exact same traits whatsoever though
theres various forms, degrees, ways people mask/cope, and so on.

u may aswell change the term 'autistic' to 'weirdo' at some point. What is the underlying mechanism for people to be considered a 'weirdo' and how is it caused.

and how can normies intuitively clock youre autistic and know how to 10d language manipulate you but also literally have no idea of what autism is if you if you ask them to articulate what theyre sensing about you thats different, wtf are they even doing. its like they have this instinctual ability to create a model of my brain -> know why/how im thinking/feeling -> and then eq mog me to shit all in the span of 2 milliseconds

normies arent even smart (cognitively), how is their intuition so powerful - they come across as untouchable gods in social situations

yeah thats because a major factor of autism is an amygdala that stops developing like 10 years too early. they (we) literally have the personalities of children/adolescents (depending on the severity) attached to fully functional neocortex

hence the social naivety
hence the gullibility
hence the tantrums
hence the massive egos

its gotten to the point where the only feasible cure (i can currently think of) is taking an extremely potent dose of dmt and praying for the hyperspacial mantis god surgeon beings to perform voodoo brain surgery on me to make me more NT

and thats why i dont believe autism exists, as someone who is diagnosed with it. It seems to be a few smaller disorders and syndromes. Many things can be attributed to cluster b and c, some to a too. Now, autism isn't a personality disorder in itself but many symptoms of cluster b and c are super common in autistic people. My theory is that they have the money and the scientists to search what autism actually consists of but it won't bring in as much revenue.

i dont even know if i want a cure for autism (the based, high functioning kind of autism, of course)

for the most part it seems normies (neurotypicals) are lower on the cognitive evolution ladder (unironically) but by virtue of being the majority they can dictate social capital and exclude anyone (ie from jobs, ie your livelihood) that deviates in terms of their behaviour as doing so sets off the 'this individual is not apart of our tribe' alarm.

I feel like I used to be way more autistic. I think you just got to have a lot of social interactions and experience and you'll do better. Being good looking and shit probably helps . And better diet so ur mind isn't clogged.

I was at peak autism when I was trying to figure out "game" and what things to say and social dynamics but it's just retarded and makes u seem weird

U just gotta go with ur intuition and keep things basic at the start, small talk etc

But I guess if I have that intuition and autists don't then that's brutal. But surely they do a little bit.

Or even u can just learn through trial and error the look on people's faces when u say certain things or how they respond..

You shouldn’t judge a mental disorder by its label or its so-called symptoms but a mental disorder is only and all always be only what the diagnostic criteria is for it. For autism, it is as follows (dsm-5):

A. Persistent deficits in social communication and social interaction across multiple contexts, as manifested by all of the following (currently or by history):
1. Deficits in social-emotional reciprocity
2. Deficits in nonverbal communicative behaviors used for social interaction
3. Deficits in developing, maintaining, and understanding relationships
B. Restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, or activities, as manifested by at least two of the following (currently or by history)
1. Stereotyped or repetitive motor movements, use of objects, or speech
2. Insistence on sameness, inflexible adherence to routines, or ritualized patterns
3. Highly restricted, fixated interests that are abnormal in intensity or focus
4. Hyper- or hyporeactivity to sensory input or unusual interest in sensory aspects of the environment
C. Symptoms must be present in the early developmental period, but may not become fully manifest until social demands exceed limited capacities, or may be masked by learned strategies in later life.
D. Symptoms cause clinically significant impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of current functioning.
E. These disturbances are not better explained by intellectual disability (intellectual developmental disorder) or global developmental delay.

the diagnostic criteria is water

whats the underlying neurological/hormonal/nervous system mechanism that causes autism and why does said mechanism manifest deficits in social communication

i wouldnt define autism solely a mental issue tho

ie down syndrome -> extra copy of chromosome 21

plus all mental characteristics have an underlying mechanism

i didn’t say that mental characteristics don’t have underlying mechanisms, I said that they don’t have known underlying mechanisms. No one knows the mechanism of the extra chromosome, only that it affects the person
