Learning a new language isn't hard if you put in the hours* everyday

Big ups if that language shares similar roots and script with your native one.

Took me approx 3 months to learn perfect Bahasa Melayu. Within that same time period I also managed to learn decent proficiency is conversational Mandarin.

I'll be focusing on Mandarin after I am done with some work.

Requires a lot of effort and repetition but I wouldn't describe it as "hard".

Learning something like Arabic would be much more taxing obviously because it is a different script, same with if you choose to learn Japanese or Mandarin.

I can write some Chinese characters but it took alot of practice.
a lot* learn English first before sticking to a new language

Learning the articles will probably be the hardest, thats where most foreigners mess up (besides pronunciation)

It's been exactly 1 month since I started learning german. Everyday 2 hours of german. I watch videos to learn the basic grammar, listen to german music, watch movies and make notes when I hear something I dont understand and look them up later. I can already speak simple sentences and understand basic words.

My goal is to get to a b2 level within next year. I've heard b2 grammar can be done within a year but for listening and speaking unless you live in germany and speak german to people all the time it will be very hard but I like challenging things @deadstock @Beastimmung @LancasteR @NZb6Air @Akhi
Sehr gut diggi
