All Indo-European ethnology and linguistics is built on ideological bullshit. Even the state of Thuringia in Germany takes its name from the Turks. There is a close kinship between the Germans and the Turks. But they deny it.
 
There are many substrate Turkic words in germanic.
 
Turkey was created by Germany to import cheap labor forces
