Getting A or A+ grade is difficult in STEM courses

software is legit the coziest career tbh
How. I hear about having to wake up in the middle of the night just to fix some button on a website in a panic. Spending 12 hours straight having to fix software bugs

"no it's so easy bro!!! you can just sit on your ass, so cozerino!!! :soy: :soy: :soy: Apple will 100% beg you to work for them for 3 hours a day!!!"
I've heard freelance is chill tho. But then of course you have no benefits

It blows my mind that the foundation of basically the entire modern world is only truly understood by like 0.0001%. I've heard before that Civilization right now is extremely fragile and if some kind of disaster happened that destroyed everything we would have a very difficult time building it all back up , if we would even be able to do it at all. I've heard we would just revert back to ancient times or even hunter-gatherer
True this is something that boggled my mind in childhood before i took the blackpill and became a complete recluse. I always gad the desire to know how exactly everysingle technology ever developed works.

You think coding is about keeping some shitty website up at 1am? Maybe a small section of IT jobs, "sys admins" who do this shit.

I'm talking about the nicer 40 hour week at home / in the office type actual programming jobs.

I agree, I’m doing STEM right now and there’s no way you can get a solid grade without putting all your focus on your studies. I’m already running behind and it’s only been two weeks for me.

you’re back in school now, bhai? it’ll take some effort to acclimatise since you’ve been out of school for so long. give it some time, build up a foundation, implement some good studying techniques and you’ll be ight

Title. Users here legitimately think that some people can effortlessly excel academically in STEM while partying all day but this is a BS cope. In computer science, electrical engineering, and other advanced engineering disciplines that heavily rely on advanced-level mathematics achieving top grades not only requires diligent practice but also a deep level of intuition and problem-solving skills.

Cscels in particular are exposed to complex algorithms, intricate coding languages, and challenging hardware design concepts. These subjects require countless hours of studying, coding practice, and experimentation. Simply put, there are no shortcuts to mastering these subjects..

Ive even seen high iq people struggle with the demanding course work, getting good in these degrees is not solely determined by raw intelligence but also by a strong work ethic, perseverance, and the ability to adapt to new and complex problems. Getting an A/A+ grade is very difficult in STEM degrees anyone who says they stidy just before thr exam and still get an A is lieing to you they most likely put in hundreds of hours of practice behind thr scenes..

I mean I did revise a lot for it but I also went out and partied a lot and got As for my degree and masters In CS… so umm yeah it’s “possible”

That having been said I did have my “sweaty” moments where I grinded for hours per day just to ensure my shit was perfect but it was rare and I spent most time on Apex legends and out drinking

Glad to see you helping out a fellow Bhai. Don’t leave a man behind, each Pakistan bad boy that succeeds makes you closer to defeating india

What’s the average bro? Also is there a 8 CGPA criteria for sitting in placement.
The average is around 7.5 and it depends for most comapnies there is a CGPA criteria its usually around 8 like you said, sometimes 9 too but there are a few top companies offering super dream packages that do not have a CGPA criteria or have one thats very low.

What’s MBB tier for CS? Does Atlassian and Media.net come for placements. Heard that have hard DSA rounds

By MBB do you mean the tier 1 consulting firms? If so there's no equivalent for that in CS but that is because engineering grads are freshers without any work ex and join companies as juniors while you join MBBs as partners with work ex and a Masters degree the closet equivalent would obviously be FAANG but even they don't make as much as McKinsey partners do. I don't know much about what companies exactly come for placements but we have quite a top tier foreign companies visiting our campus. And most of them seem to have a separate DSA round.

Read a C++ book and would guess the next passages even before reading them. Like me thinking input "hi" and the actual book would have "hello world".

But then again I'm an INTJ.

Oh yeah the questions in "University Physics with Modern Physics" by Sears and Zemansky are an absolute killer.

You just can’t party every single night. Maybe once or twice a week at most and you should be good on your grades if you’re relatively high iq

True, I Almost failed my bachelor in math from a french top tier Uni.

You legit need god tier time management to be an all rounder in engineering. it’s very difficult to give adequate time to all courses, maintain close to perfect GPA, not have your social life suffer, not be perpetually stressed, and also dedicate enough time to looksmaxxing gym etc

If I try maintain a good balance some fucker will outperform u cus of relative grading

It’s brutal

I mostly agree with this post but you're speaking for yourself here.

Most people are just retarded all the people in my maths lectures can barely understand simple things. So yes technically it’s difficult but only because most people shouldn’t be doing STEM.

Fax, I know a guy who cheated his way into final year of uni, the jigga is completly clueless. I underestimated how many people literally get carried in uni
