as i now, i actually do have wavy hair. My hair only forms curls when its long enough and has weight to hold it down. I dont got nappy nigger hair like you think i do. I actually take care of my hair by using conditioner and mousse

i struggle with this as well. the method is to make your hair into a man bun for like 30 minutes and slighty wet it after. Use mousse after every time you wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner.

Only problem I have is when I wake up

When my hair is short is 3a but when left long (at least 6-7 months) it becomes 2c-2b. When I used shitty shampoos it would be very frizzy. Nowadays I use less but very good shampoo and natural aloe mascara/leave on conditioner and looks good most of the time, even wake up I can easily put it together with hand and it's smooth/no knots

Flat straight hair has a lot of versatility and is low maintenance. With a good haircut and products, you can add alot of both texture and volume. Besides you can style it to however you want. Curly hair people dont have enough haircuts that fit them as straight hair people do. Also you can experiment with it like how the Japanese be doing.
