Getting a root canal before jaw surgery

I have 2 cavities not sure if I need a filling or a root canal going to see to make sure possibly might need one at least in one of my teeth, and for the reason I am getting my teeth fix is because I don’t want to get fucked by infection once I get a genioplasty and doubt the surgeon will even preform on me if I have cavities because like I said it could lead to infection during the surgery

Going to this clinic who will charge you based on your income so if I do quality for a filling I could get it for cheap and if I need a root canal which I hope I don’t I will need to spend 2k fuck man
