Getting baptized, and don't want to

I'm getting baptized in like an 3 hours , but I just don't feel connected to a God. I just can't believe religion is real, or God cares about me after being on this forum for one year. Even at this convention I see pain in the eyes of those who get mogged and the joy of the ones doing the mogging.

Man life is fake, I see ppl who look uglier than me with love while I just rot away trading and lookmaxing.

Been lying and faking it all my life bro can't take shit no more

Depends on the church/ denomination

He’s Probably Protestant so they allow people who are older to get baptized, it’s mostly the Catholic Church that does the baby stuff

I don't believe in god, so to me 'baptism' is just dipping yourself in water, so if it makes your family feel better, then might aswell go for it and not think about it any deeper.

No only Catholics baptize as a baby. Baptism is a concious choice. A public declaration that you accept Christ as your lord and savior. A baby cannot give consent to that. That is why Christians do Baptism much later in life
