Yo does anyone else get absolutely wrecked by facial bloat on letrozole? 😭

Everything feels totally fine when I’m on anastrozole (Arimidex). No weird sides nothing noticeable. But the moment I switch to letro even something like 0.5 mg EOD my face just explodes overnight. Like cheeks puffed up, whole face looks swollen. I legit look like I ate a kilo of salt before bed.

What’s weird is everything else feels normal. It’s just the face that turns into a balloon.

Is this a thing with letro? Like does it mess with water retention or estrogen levels differently than arimidex? Or am I just unlucky with this one side effect?

Curious if anyone else had the same thing happen.

I haven’t had anything like it personally but Letrozole is known to fuck with your electrolyte levels a lot especially sodium and potassium. Your diet might have a high/low amount of either, if that is the case you should feel sometimes tingles in ur hands and feet.

What I would do to fix that problem would be to eat more/less of either you believe you are exceeding/lacking or you could get an electrolyte supplement.

Hope this helped
