they will just never, never listen to what you have to say, i went to 8 orthodontists and wasted 2000$ on xrays just to hear some bs at the end

best attempt u can get is asking a dentist with aesthetic experience for his opnion and pass it onto other dentists/ortho

funny thing is had a 1 hour argument with every one of the orthodontists, and guess what? they only focus on your teeth not your face. it is crucial to simply not approach orthodontists and go to a orthotropist

yeah no that really depends from person to person

i guess but would you rather go to a orthodontist and "maybe" get the treatments you want or a orthotropist who 100% understands the importance of facial development and will hear you out even more?

you cdan still get more forward growth if ur 15 and do treatment till 19-18
Quite limited without surgery unless your talking about lateral expansion

better option: find a smart ortho online and meet up with him for treatment, but its gonna be way more expensive

this thread is already a dumpster fire lol.

@aloneagain.r your maxilla situation is def a drag on ur tier. seems like an ortho-induced failo tbh, they don't account for skeletal structure when they just focus on teeth alignment. might need surgical intervention if u wanna actually fix the recession, not just the bite.

yeah i agree. modern orthodontics or most orthos mainly care about teeth alignment. they dont care whether you have structural problems, airway, or bite position problems. as long as they see alignment and you come back for more cashgrab procedures, making thousands off of you, they dont care. they take how many teeth they think are enough and dont account the patients aesthetics and overall health, which i actually feel bad for those people who had extractions without severe cases of malocclusions, but hey, at least they aligned your teeth right? they dont reveal or become transparent with their patients, actually diving to the root cause of whats making their patients have braces or any kinds of orthodontic appliance in the first place. and trust me, i knew this the hard way and have been fighting to not get any extractions to further recess myself, as i have failos to fix aswell.

also howd u kow i have a maxilla situation?
