Getting closer to people

My whole middle school and high school I’ve felt isolated despite being a pretty talkative person. Floater friend I guess

This year it’s starting to change

I found a good lunch group to sit with that arent fake or move weird, I knew them all for a while too. It helps that the group punching bag there is scared of me and buys me oreos so I don’t join in

I have associates in all of my classes and I only really feel alone in one of them. My last class has a bunch of my friends in it so for once I’m able to troll the loners

As for events, two friends said I should go to the gym with them (they don’t know each other) I’m going to a convention with another group, I’m going to the mall soon with a separate one, and one friend said I should pu to parties with him

All I have to do now is act relatively normal and not do anything significantly retarded

sounds good bro, the gym sounds great aswell and the fact they are inviting you is a good sign, this all sounds too familiar to me, last year being the start of sixth form i was lucky enough to become apart of a new friendship group after not having one for 2 years, and the group was a good mixture of people in terms of attributes, ts saved me from isolation and group floating, groups pretty solidified now 8-9 of us and i have no problems with most people in my year

Most likely you're isolated because there isn't anyone who you'd really enjoy getting to know.

Middle school and high school is filled with losers.
