Imagine you wake up and hear everything went perfect with no complications, the swelling period will be very very bearable.

btw I had a quick question about the consultation process u went through for trimax + full facial implants from giant

When planning the surgery, did liam primarily design everything from the CT scan of the skull, or did he also need photos of ur face?

The reason I ask is that I'm planning to get temporary facial fillers in the near future while waiting for surgery, as I've heard the giant waitlist can be quite long. My plan would be to have all of the fillers dissolved before the surgery itself, so I wanted to check whether having fillers during the consultation or planning stage would affect anything?

Recovery update. Eyes still swollen from Supras but can see out of left one just fine. No need for painkillers anymore, haven’t taken one in 36 hours. Starting to bruise. On the up side, my lip swelling has slowly started to reduce. Today I was able to drink directly from a bottle which I consider a huge win (previously only drinking from syringe). My masters are still clenched AF so my bite is having trouble at the moment, but I saw a photo of my bite on the OR table and it was fine so should be in the clear. Sleep has been one of the most difficult things about recovery, after surgery I went about 48 hours before I got even 10 mins of sleep (yes that was literal torture) but yesterday I was able to get about 6 hours. Bleeding nonstop out the nose but it’s not so bad.

Numb and sore. Serious pain is gone but comes back a little when I’m trying to sleep. The sleep issues I belive are due to masseter soreness and just figuring out out to breathe on my back in a new jaw position. My airway def increased a bunch tho

You typically don’t have to pee much afterwards since you don’t drink much but you call one of the nurses/caretaker and they’ll go to the toilet with you or sometimes you get an urinary catheter

Catheter for first 8-12 hours post op then they rip out. Mine was awful taking out (they needed the extended length catheter). After that you either use the portable urinal or walk to bathroom 10 feet away from bed. The only struggle for me was lack of vision so I used the bedside urinal once. As another commenter mentioned you don’t need to pee a tong and my pee was super dark for quite a while post of (still lowkey is lmao)
