Getting my tongue tie checked for surgery

Im gonna get my tongue tie checked by a dentist soon (it starts from the very tip of my tongue and makes it hard to mew and properly swallow), what should I do or say to the dentist to make sure he prescribes surgery to be done and not just say that its nothing and wont affect and all

Be honest with your dentist tell them why you think you need tounge tie removal explain to them in detaiol and then listen to their response, if they recommend you to get it, then do what they advice you to do, but if they somehow say no but you still feel no mobility with your tounge then go to a different dentist and ask them
