Getting off adderall

I have severe adhd and I’ve been prescribed adderall for as long as I can remember, I’m in my first year of college now and it’s gotten to the point where I can take like 60mg and barely feel it and still not get shit done, feel like it’s having a bad overall impact on my brain but if I don’t take it then I for sure won’t be able to pass college, thinking about trying to get off and go down like a nootropic route and maybe using something thats not neurotoxic like modafinil, any advice?

It DOES have an impact on your brain. Plus its proven to stunt growth. Its hard to find a balance with adhd but you may wanna look into a non stimulant prescription. Adderall gives people mental issues long term and makes u a zombie. Try something like qelbree. A doctor will prescribe it not problem
