Getting oral minoxidil by eating 5% topical minoxidil for A PENNY A DAY - the cheapest MX method for almost COMPLETELY FREE (sexy eyelashes)

This is something I've thought about doing for a while and I just took the plunge. Topical minoxidil (MX) + tretinoin has been working quite well for my eyebrows but I've been meaning to get oral minoxidil for eyelash growth. I tried applying topical minoxidil straight on my eyelashes (against my better judgement), but it didn't really make any big difference even after months, probably because of my low SULT1a1 expression in my skin and I really don't want to apply tretinoin on my eyelids. I don't like LDOMX cause of potential cardiac complications but what are you gonna do. So then I thought:

That's a little pricey, however...


If you just buy minoxidil dissolved in ethanol and propylene glycol:
60 ml 5% solution for 15 GBP equivalent in my country -> 60ml * 50 mg MX/ml = 3000mg MX
Which means that for 15 GBP I can get 3000mg/2.5mg = 1200 doses for 15 GPB -> 0.0125 GBP per dose


SO I CAN JUST EAT TOPICAL MINOXIDIL TO GET IT ORAL FOR 0.75/0.0125= 60 TIMES CHEAPER THAN NORMAL DOCTORS PRESCRIBED LDOMX!

I just took 1ml of my 5% topical MX into a syringe, and placed it into a shot glass. I mixed it with 9 equal parts EtOH and stirred it up well. I don't think that's an issue, I looked it up and it seems like minoxidil is pretty stable in even quite strong acids

I'm actually not from the UK :/ I just picked the first listing online as an example. But I wouldn't buy it from oxfordonlinepharmacy.co.uk either way because by eating topical minoxidil, it's the same as oral tablets and I pay literally 1 cent a day for it lol.

I just took 1ml of my 5% topical MX into a syringe, and placed it into a shot glass. I mixed it with 9 equal parts EtOH and stirred it up well. I took up 1 ml and squirted that shit into my mouth

So I'm NOT taking 1 ml of 5% MX which would be 50mg of MX. Rather I'm diluting it to 0.5% MX, so when I squirted that 1 ml of the homemade solution in my mouth I got a dose of 5mg of MX.

Of course if I wanted 2.5mg I would've taken 0.5 ml, but I wanted to try 5mg because thats the upper end of LDOMX, which is usually dosed in the range of 0.5mg to 5mg. I wanted to try that upper end to see if I could at least tolerate such a dose in the short term. The aforementioned cardiac complications (specifically pericardial effusion leading to cardiac tamponade) are from long term use, so this would just safely serve as a starting point to find a comfortable dose. If I liked it I would maybe continue at 5mg, but otherwise I'd rechallenge later at a lower dose if 5mg would cause uncomfortable adverse effects.

I thought this was a little long-winded and not really relevant to what I wanted to communicate to the reader, but in retrospect maybe I should've been a little clearer with how I prepared and consumed the MX.

How's it been going for him, any results so far?

Yes he says he has had very good results for eyelash growth and eyebrows and ive seen the progress aswell so seems like it works
