For years, I had psoriasis plaques on my legs, eyebrows, behind my ears, in my hair, and even in my beard. It was persistent, itchy, and frustrating.
Since I started this routine, using clobetasol propionate shampoo for the scalp and applying betamethasone cream on affected areas during flare-ups, I haven’t had a single plaque. Not even a trace.
Here’s how to use it effectively :
Shampoo : apply clobetasol propionate shampoo on the scalp, massage, leave for 5–10 minutes, then rinse. This calms inflammation and reduces itching.
Cream : use betamethasone cream only during flare-ups, especially at moments when you feel the urge to scratch. A thin layer is enough to stop the flare and prevent further irritation.
Exercise also plays a key role. It helps lower stress and anxiety, which are often the main triggers for psoriasis flares.
In short :
Stress & anxiety → inflammation → plaques
Clobetasol shampoo → stops inflammation on the scalp
Betamethasone cream → use during flare-ups → stops itching and plaques
Exercise → reduces stress → prevents flares
This combination completely cleared my psoriasis.

Clobetasol and Betamethasone are potent topical corticosteroids used to reduce inflammation, itching, and allergic reactions on the skin or scalp. They are synthetic forms of cortisol and, if overused or applied on large areas, can enter the bloodstream and suppress natural cortisol production (HPA axis). Short-term use on limited areas is generally safe.
