This can be explained by NTpill and backshot baby theory. When you are a teen, your quality of life mostly depends on your upbringing and home life. JBs usually aren't super hypergamous, they usually become hypergamous around college age or once they start hitting the wall. So you pretty much just have to be normal and participate in life, and your looksmatch will just fall into your lap.

A kid with retarded parents will be poorly socialized because the parents do the bare minimum. They only give the kid guidance when they fuck up horribly, send them to school with lunchlys and then feed them air fryer food at home, get them shitty clothes, let them play video games all day etc. Kids who are raised this way end up doing the bare minimum at best, and usually end up developing a bunch of strange neurosis that make them offputting to foids.
