The key to surgery with Giant is timing your design process with his relationship status. If things are going well with his boyfriend your designs will probably get done properly and on time. If they're fighting or broken up you're totally screwed.

Gillies attempted at least the LF3 along the previously defined fracture pattern with no real success for syndromic deformity correction (1950s) but the first one was a re-osteotomy of a previous LeFort III fracture to reset it to the right position (1940s)
Tessier Pioneered the LeFort II Osteotmy (the surgery) along that fracture pattern. (1970s)
