If you’ve already befriended her, you’re already off to a bad start. The more time you spend with a girl as a friend, the less she will ever see you as a romantic prospect. (I learned this painfully last month)

Obviously you should only kiss her if you think it’s pretty obvious she was into you during the date.

One straightforward way is to always cut the first date short by saying you have to go, etc. If she was really feeling you or the date she’ll be visibly upset about you leaving, even if not said verbally. If she’s indifferent- it’s over and it really is best to leave that date early.

You only kiss her when you’re about to leave though so you don’t impose too much. Also reduces the odds of it being awkward for her (or you).
