My hypothesis is she actually knows who you are, but for some reason decides to show your friend she doesn't acknowledge your existence.
I know it's pretty fucked up to think she might be doing it on purpose, but from what I've observed it is plausible.
Other theory is she might have a terrible memory but I doubt it.
