I had 2 girlfriends and it happened 2 times the same way: It seemed like we were in love with eachother, but I a little more. Slowly the girl become more distant while my love shined bright, then finally they broke up with me with an excuse and were apologizing and both crying

Also, it happened right before my birthday like just now as my girlfirend left me.
