So when I am out in public transport almost always ot is girls that do this. Id say 80-90 percent it is girls. They touch their nose and kinda scratch it or squeeze. I do not see smiles or prolonged eye contact (I mean they might do prolonged eye contact but I do not look at them that much so I dont really know). Well obviously it depends on what you look like, maybe you have a dorsal hump and they imagined having a dorsal hump and started flicking their nose as if to flick their imaginary dorsal hump away
