I picked my uni at undergrad purely because the department is "world leading". I thought I was gonna be an academic for the rest of my life JFL. But I changed my mind halfway though.

Yes they could. The UK is not like the States where you need money to go to a private university for examples.

Philosophy is one of the easiest courses to get onto at Oxford and it has the lowest grade requirements (AAA). It’s not like maths, physics or economics and management where you actually need to be intelligent to get in.

Durham has the highest percentage of private schoolers out of any uni, but I’m guessing it’s not all super elite like Eton, harrow ect. I did a work experience placement at an elite boutique and a lot of grads went to Durham and they were all posh tbh.

LSE is better than Oxbridge for IB. ICL is better for computing than Oxbridge. Warwick maths = Oxford maths.
