Some guys here want romantic love, not mere sex.
The problem is that most girls want fun, as in partying, having casual sex, drinking heavily, traveling, and going out with new guys every other weekend.
Girls are overwhelmed by responsibility. Dating for them has to come spontaneously. If you force anything, they feel pressured and cut ties. Imagining a finger on their ring renders a lot of girls anxious for real.
I believe this is not only a girl's problem, though. Guys are so desperate for affection that we cling like a glue to any girl that gives us a scintilla of it. The only solution I can come up with is to become less romantic, even though it might be painful to do so. Unless you happen to find a truly romantic girl, romance will eat you alive.
