I put half-cup milk and half-cup water into a pan, not even a teapot and then boil it and then add the tea and after that's done I add the sugar

i tried this recipe
it's good at first but gets dull halfway through

I will try @PrinterAndFaxMachin method and then chai-i saw recommended

I drank black tea with fresh lemon juice and it was very good
