Maya in Buddhism refers to the idea that the world as we see it is an illusion or misperception. It's the notion that everything we experience, from our thoughts to the physical world around us, is temporary and shaped by our minds, which often leads to attachment and suffering
Maya keeps us from seeing the true nature of reality, which is impermanent and interconnected. In a way, it’s like we’re all caught up in a dream, believing it’s real, when in fact, it’s just a fleeting, distorted version of the truth. Understanding and transcending Maya is key to reaching enlightenment
That's why I want it to end in the future, it really sucks.
