Women don't date men just for sex. But some men do date just for sex, that is because men's sex drive is 9 times stronger than women's, on average, because of our testosterone levels.

Women get a boyfriend mainly for the emotional connection, the attention, the validation, and in some cases, for money, and of course sex is there too.

Women don't cheat for the same reason as men. Men cheat because of sexual frustration when their partner doesn't satisfy them sexually. Women cheat when they don't love their partner anymore but are too afraid of breaking up. Of course, some women cheat for sexual satisfaction too, but this tends to happen less.

Also, the reason why most women are picky on dating apps is because it is very difficult for women to judge men on a risk vs reward perspective based on a couple of pictures and some text messages, and it is much riskier for a woman to have sex with a crazy man than for a man to have sex with a crazy woman because men are 2 times stronger and 2 times more muscular than women, on average. So women tend to pick guys who have the best looks, the best job, the best style, and who have pictures with cool friends, because those guys seem like they are less creepy than the average guy, even though it may not be the case. This is why, even today, it's better to meet women in real life than online. Online, to succeed, you basically have to be both high trust (opposite of creepy) and sexy, but in real life, you just have to be decent looking and have a normal personality, that is the main difference.
