Giving up on LL.

Even though LL would help me a lot and fix a hige insecurity of mine, it might be just too far of a stretch… saving almost $100k for a surgery is something that would take me 2-3 years of working - considering I land a good job

i’m 18 rn and honestly i’ll just max out my face and cope with that, my height isn’t great but idk if i’m willing to take that much effort just for a few inches tbh…

My height is my biggest insecurity but I feel you. Like, I badly wanna be taller, but is it worth 100K, being being unable to walk without crutches for months, walk properly for a year, and even after that a lot worse mobility than before? No imo. I just like to cope with the idea thinking "dw, I'll be tall one day, because I'll do LL in the future", but I won't actually do it

174cm is my actual height but I use elevator shoes daily rn, which brings me to the equivalent of barefoot 180cm

Eh expected much worse. At that height face is supreme but i feel ya. Height feels more real as a mog cuz u can easily identify it as opposed to face which is more subjective

Ik, it’s just that it is really frustrating when you get heightmogged because it is completely objective (you are either shorter or taller than someone). Meanwhile when you see someone good looking its easier to cope with “subjectiveness” so it doesn’t hurt as much as when you see a guy 4 inches taller than your frauded height.

40k and you can get 6 cm tibia/femur in Korea with a really good doc. It’ll get you to 180 cm which is equivalent to 6 ft in Europe

It is, the Korean surgeon trained under the US surgeon and he has 0 percent permanent complication rate. LL is done a lot in Korea so he has a lot of cases so even if something went wrong he’d know what to do

Good luck man, 6 cm will put you at a good height and the recovery isn’t too brutal
