god complex is when u start thinking youre above everyone else and that normal rules dont really apply to u. it can look like confidence but theres a big difference between being confident and genuinely believing youre superior to everyone around u. the weird thing is that it doesnt always come from having a massive ego either, sometimes it comes from insecurity. u keep trying to prove youre smarter, stronger, better looking or more important because admitting youre not perfect feels like losing. then eventually u start believing your own image and any criticism becomes “theyre jealous” or “theyre just stupid” instead of actually thinking about whether they might be right. thats where it becomes a problem because once u think u already know everything u stop learning. real intelligence is being able to say “i might be wrong” without feeling like your entire identity got attacked. confidence is knowing what youre capable of, god complex is thinking nobody can challenge u. one makes u improve, the other makes u blind. jfl
