You’re on your own jfl. That nigga doesn’t give a fuck about anyone. Or else you wouldn’t be suffering and there wouldn’t be kids getting diddled across the world. The harsh truth is the only one responsible for your destiny is you.

True, he probably gets a kick out of watching sub-5s suffer
he looks down on humanity and sees the utter destruction and chaos, and all he does is sit back and relax. if there even is a god

Who is "you"
You are your genetics and past experiences, they dictate your thoughts, emotions, beliefs, opinions, intelligence, personality, characteristics etc, so if we made someone have the same genetics and past experiences as you, they would quite literally be YOU.

That's why I am a determinist, I think that there was only one possible thing you could've chosen based on the factors you were given, if somebody was placed in the exact same situation as you with the same factors, they would also do what you did, proving that our actions are inevitable and unavoidable which disproves every religion that believes in free will and responsibility.

Nigga killed his own son when he coulda forgiven our sins to begin with.

I agree but I lean towards we have more control over our actions.

In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
Without sacrifice of blood there is no cleanse of sins that is the rule God made.
So the before Christ coming Jews always sacrificed animals for their sins

I mean we have "control" in a sense that we choose things, but if we could have only chosen one thing, are we really responsible, if God put you back in time erasing your memories in the process and putting you in the exact same situation with the exact same thoughts and desires (everything that influences your decision making), how could you choose a different thing, you are going to have the same thought process and conclusion, and you're gonna end up choosing the same thing you've chosen the first time, no matter how many times we repeat this experiment, the result will always be the same, because equal factors cause equal results every single time.

How?

God knows and controls everything that’s gonna happened before it happens

God gives free will and created Lucifer knowing what he will do

He takes sin seriously so I don’t think he will do that. By just forgiving without believing in Jesus Christ because he is the sacrifice for sins

Yes, Satan or formerly Lucifer was created by God.
Because everything including evil was allowed to propagate to it's own will by God.
He knew that evil was gonna happen, because he is everything.
Everything is a part of him and he is a part of everything.

The biggest thing I’m confused about is how did the whole satan taking over thing happen before God created the world?

It states God created Adam and Eve right at the beginning of the world, but the serpent also exists, which is “Satan” that used to be Lucifer

Uhm, if he takes sins so seriously, he would have removed it altogether, he's powerful enough to eradicate it.

Doesn’t that go against the whole “God is pure good and has never sinned in his life”
Who said that? The Christians?
Yes, maybe.
According to their theory, God sent out his son to save humans from such sins.
And he being the son of God, didn't commit any sins and is pure.
Therefore since God is a part of him,
and he is a part of God.
God is pure and is sinless(in a sense)

Not sure about that.
But in the Genesis it mentions the first creation of this universe mostly which is a physical dimension maybe he created the spiritual world even before he made the physical world

Same. I’ve always been a Christian since birth and have always been a good/nice person, according to everybody around me. However, didn’t stop them from treating me like absolute shit.

Why did he do that? Wouldn't an all good being never allow evil to exist?

So you think god isn't all good and pure? Wouldn't that contradict most religions since they believe in an all-loving and all-good god?

Yes, most religions are misinterpreted and I don't think they would make much sense in a non-supernatural, logical perspective.

Christianity and Judaism however, are higher in probability of being more accurate about God than let's say "Islam" Which literally just means "peace".
I see how you could make arguments for those two religions, not Islam tho.
Cause of the simple reason of it being a ripoff created by a genius business man warlord to get more power.

Exactly man. I was taught that “kindness would reward me.”

Instead, they viewed me kindness as weakness and that I’m an easy person to take advantage of.

It’s so fucking unfair man. These two 6’3 tall upperclassmen men used to pick on me and force me to fight them sometimes.
Right now there living prosperous lives and doing good in their sport, while I’m just rotting.

It’s not fucking fair, I got robbed out of my genetics bro. I had tall parents yet I ended up 5’6. If I became 6 ft according to my parents genes, I could’ve actually pursued my sport more:feelswhy:

In the book of Job it says

On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone— while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy

Morning Star which refers to angels they say angels sang when God laid cornerstone in earth, so probably the spiritual realm was existing before the the physical word created from empty to something

Also what are you guys thoughts on the many different religions existing all at once. Even if a God were to exist, how can you be sure you picked the right one? If you didn’t, you end up in hell your entire life.

Hmm, I don't think islam means peace, you can Google this, but regardless, what do we get from these religions especially when the God isn't all good and therefore doesn't have the best intentions... aren't empathy and intelligence enough for humanity?

I mean, not knowing how to write doesn't mean you aren't a genius, you gotta understand the context also, one of the arguments for islam was that the quran wasn't written by Muhammad since he didn't know how to write and if somebody else wrote it, they would 100% take the credit and say that the prophet is lying about the book being from God, he was really intelligent, has better manipulation and influence than Light lowkey (a bit of trolling since Lights opponents were much stronger so he probably has better manipulation and influence as well)

I don't think normal people need such religions,
especially not in today's world.
It's meant for depressed or lost folk, who are on the verge of ending it.
Some being outside of the material realm, existing.
Gives them some hope.

Also, these religious texts didn't actually come from nothing.
They provide good insight and perspective towards life.
A perspective of the individual whose brain was used as a project machinery for the Godly thought process.

Islam is a ripoff of Judaism, the ancient Arabians were pagans.
They yearned for a monotheistic religion.
And Muhammed(actually his puppets) delivered.
