God i hate when i need to get my blood taken

Inb4 you are a med student wtf bro?? (During med school, i got used very quickly to injecting patients and i lost my phobia by about 80%, but it returns quick if i don't have experience on it for a long time) Well i just hate when they puncture my vein around the antecubital area

There is something about this place that i hate so much, like you know how after the injection you can feel it when moving your arm? Very annoying. I don't actually have a problem with them gettijg my blood from the underarm region tho, much better and i don't fear it at all, cause after injection i don't feel that place when moving around

Also i hate when they take so much blood and i start feeling nauseous af, idk if its physical or mental because it looks like they are taking my life force away and it makes me feel awful

We all did (kinda). all the students just opened each other veins (again, not blood testing but tubes) which is X10 harder and sometimes it takes 6-8 times for dumb foids to get right. or sometimes just for the hell of it we would practice on each other if there were no real patient. there's always a crazy bitch who want to get her veins open because she think she's cool.

I’m my school it is mandatory for each new year to get new blood test done to see if you’re healthy, they test you for HIV aids and some other shit and you had to go at 6 am and a lot of people would faint there since a lot of them had phobias plus not eating breakfast so they would just feel weak and pass out

Yeah alot of it has to do with the food part i think, i don't have that much phobia now, but getting my blood done while fasted just makes me dizzy and nauseous af
