the determinism is not that you will be sent to hell but that you are passed over to go to heaven. if you know your kid would eat all the sweets in the house if you let him and after he does he will feel sick and have made the wrong decision, is it wrong to let him? If it was my son I would show him the way and offer repeatedly the right thing but if he rebels you just have to let him do it and learn.
