Well, game jams last from 3 to 7 days normally and they have finished projects. 30 days isnt really impressive. But I havent seen what he made. I work in game dev and its not that hard, and Ive made my own games in a day or 2 from 10th grade for assignments or to help study a language and its pretty easy. But I mean he should work for someone

7 days is good, it only cost $100 to upload onto steam and not sure about consoles.

Balatro is such a simple game and the solo dev made millions, plus Godot is open source

Not really. They make cpus and gpus sure but a big chunk of their workforce drivers, compilers, firmware, tools all that. Like around 60% of the company is software the rest is hardware design, VLSI, and research.

And SDE pay is always on par with hardware sometimes even higher,even in "hardware companies."

If you want I can make a summary of how this dude constantly makes claims that are blatantly untrue, and then when he’s shown actual evidence, he stops engaging and says he doesn’t care anymore
