Routine:
AM:
- Retin-A 0.05% (Avoiding undereye area)
- Moisturizer with SPF 25

PM:
- Cleanser
- Alternating between 2% BHA and 8% AHA
- Azelaic acid 15%
- Moisturizer without SPF

BB cream is utter shit and make you looks like a gay ass btw. Don't do it.

Should I use cleanser AM too?

What I am looking for :
- Eliminate my regular light breakouts
- Shrinking big ass pores on T zone
- Reduce my fucking hyperpigmentation post acne (PIE)
- A smoother skin with a more even tone
- Reduce aging and collagen lose

More 190eur bro so 210$

Retin-A wil last long but Azelaic acid, BHA and AHA are so FUCKING expansive, especially Azelaic considering it's only 30ml

Uneducated response. Those with skin, particularly those using actives that don’t harm the skin if left on for extended periods (like a strong acid) should only splash the face with cold water in the morning. This ensures the skin barrier, which has hopefully been strengthened by oils/occlusives/moisturisers the night before is not impacted, especially prior to a day of exposure to free radical damage.

Those with significant oil production or those who have used actives that make the skin sensitive to sunlight the night before (glycolic/retinols) should use a gentle cleanser in the morning.
Over if you didn’t know to cleanse more than once a day :ROFLMAO:

this, jfl at what ur doing OP, most of the componds are incredibly toxic and in fact harmful to the skin long-term. GET THE BASIC RIGHT, cut the pufas and seed oils, eat well and get in the sun.

Aloe vera+red sun light+dermarolling are very legit btw.

As a skin care expert:

morning-
visible light can break down tretinoin. use retin-a at night. get a separate retinol eye cream that is gentler for the eye area. there are a lot.

You should be using vitamin c in the morning
before sunscreen. If you can't afford an expensive one then get one that has little ampoules or daily capsules so it doesn't oxidize. This will protect your skin, treat fine lines, and give brightness/reduce PIH.

azelaic acid is a nice ingredient, but 15% is a bit much unless you're seriously dark or suffer from acne or rosacea. But good to use in the AM if you need it to. Will synergize with tretinoin at night, so at least use it then. Might be able to not use in AM, just vitamin C.

don't wash face in AM unless you need to, if you have big pores then you might want to use a foaming cleanser in AM.

night-
looks fine.

But don't overexfoliate with the AHA/BHA. it's overrated. Use a good strong glycolic acid product once a week 8% is ok but you can go much stronger with a peel once a week.
Use bha product in oily areas as needed - probably multiple times a week if you're oily.

So I shoud eliminate AHA and BHA from my daily routine and switch to higher dose AHA with maybe BHA once a week?

What do you think of this product for a weekly use: https://www.beautybay.com/fr/p/the-ordinary/aha-30-bha-2-peeling-solution/, it's 30% AHA 2% BHA.

When you say it's overrated does it means I am wasting time and money mostly or does it means I could damage my skin?

Don't need AHA or BHA every day, you'll either irritate your skin if you're using a good product or waste your time and money and also irritate your skin and possibly get no benefit.

Use a strong AHA regularly. Once or twice a week, the strongest you can tolerate. Glycolic and lactic are the deepest penetrating, so I suggest those, just need to pick percentage.

Use BHA more frequently/as needed. Can be a cleanser that you leave on for a few minutes or a topical product. Focus on oily areas as it is oil soluble.

The combo product from the ordinary is a little irritating for most people. I would shoot for 20-25% once or twice a week. But a peel product like that is good.

Overrated as in, pick the right products and use the right frequency. Don't just do them daily for the sake of it.

Priority is-

SPF
Cleanse
Moisturize

level up with Vitamin C, and Tretinoin.

Then AHA
and then BHA

Let's say I am doing 25-25% AHA on my whole face once a week and I want to use BHA twice a week on my t-zone, would you say I should more start with 2% or 4%?

Thanks for help bro, I still decided to go for the 30% AHA 2% BHA from The Ordinary. I will use once a week and depending on how my skin react go to a lower concentration of AHA.

I cancelled my order for the 2% BHA alone and 8% AHA too. I also bought Paula's Choice C15 Vitamine C Super Booster (15% vitamin C, vitamin e + ferulic acid)

Good choice. If you're still oily, then you can get the BHA product or a salycilic acid cleanser and just use occasionally. (y)

Just look shiny/white theory jfl. It's hard to find a SPF50 moisturizer in my country anyways. I switched to Cerave AM facial moisturizing lotion which is SPF30.

Yeah I will use retin-a in the evening instead.

Also why retin a in the morning? It's better to use in the evening imo.

Indeed bro, it's because I told myself using too much drying products at the same time would be bad. But considering I changed my plan with AHA/BHA from everyday lower percentage to once a week high percentage it's not that much of a problem anymore so I will use retin-a in the evening.

why tf are you using tret during the day

you have to use it at night or it doesn't work it, deactivates in light

The only fancy shmancy topical skin product i trust is tretinoin. Besides that, no smoke, no drink, use red light, stay hydrated, sweat, use something natural to moisturize when ur dry
