Godfather 1 vs GF2 vs GoodFellas

actually am beginning to prefer Goodfellas over both godfathers ngl. perfect length/pacing and just no flaws at all. maybe the best film i've seen. i prefer the "present-day" plot of GF2 to 1's plot but the flashbacks, while good, are not as engaging imo.

I'm totally biased tho, because I have read the Godfather novel and that trilogy is a father-son bonding for me

They are quite different. Goodfellas is like a disco-party while the godfather is a house party. Obviously the first one is more glam and appealing.

It´s not that bad, if you forget how much the first two movies were good. But most of all the whole film stands and falls on Al Pacinos performance.

Coppola's daughter is really awful though, her nose is literally the worst nose i've ever seen in an actress.

Yeah, but she´s a pretty good film director herself.
