i grew up fishing, shellfishing, frog gigging, gator and turtle snagging, snake poaching, cast netting, flounder gigging, clam digging and today I wouldnt do any of that. i fucking hated it! well, except the stone crab claw snapping. i used to like that. so when you find one, you snap one of its claws off and toss him back into the bay. giving him a fighting chance. but some assholes would snap both claws off. ugh.

though turtle peeling, now that was an interesting sport. so you capture yourself a turtle. then you peel its shell off and using an ice cream scooper, you gouge that meat out. then sell it by the pound to the asians.
