Its not like that
When you spend lots of time with despersonalization you cant just get yourself back because you forgot how you act and behave
In my case was being in chronic pain for a long time and drug use that led me to this state of despersonalization
Now I cant really remember my old self fully, its like youre trying to get the puzzle pieces together but its really messy
The worst part is the mental breakdowns and insomnia and low key hallucinations
If im not drunk or on drugs im always pannicking trying to get myself back
