In Bavaria, the average is actually pretty close to 5‘11-6 amongst young Germans.
Statistics match up pretty well with my anecdotal observations.

Allerdings bräuchten wir aktuelle Studien (Non-Self-reported), um das zu bestätigen, und Bias auszuschließen. Keine Ki Daten.
Soweit ich weiß, ist München nach Hamburg die Stadt mit den größten Männern, was aufgrund des Wohlstands auch Sinn ergibt.
Zwischen den beiden sollten dementsprechend keine Unterschiede von 5cm+ liegen.
Ein Durchschnitt von 6'2 entspricht etwa 187-188cm, was selbst für Niederländer klar überdurchschnittlich wäre.

Ich selbst bin 180-181cm und liege damit fast immer im oder nahe am Durchschnitt, und das auch unter jüngeren Männern, die übrigens nicht signifikant größer sind als die vorherige Generation.
