I was supposed to do triangle elastics but last minute he decided to change it to class 2 elastics (causes genuine recession , great just my luck)


I might just ignore him and put in triangle elastics

there's not enough force to recess ur maxilla bro :C people wear headgear with fucking 32oz elastics for a month to even see 0.5 mm of change

bubba those 6oz elastics he's giving you, attached to ur teeth, are NOT going to move ur maxilla or mandible for jack shit

REALLY think about it nigga. PEOPLE use 32OZ elastics for headgear, or reverse pull headgear for MONTHS to even see 0.5 of protraction

it is worth it though, my mandible is a lot worse than my maxilla and if that is your case too i’d def use it. even if it does recess the maxilla, i dont think it is significant

isnt lip position dependent on how ur front lower/upper teeth are tipped? at the end he can just tip them forward
